My first thought was very similar. I do not see what coop members will gain from a new office that will come close to justifying the expense. But as long as the power stays on most of the time and the cost of it remains the same or less per KWH, the new office can be built of gold plated titanium as far as I'm concerned.

If you only knew... That's minor compared to some of the abuse I've heard about at that place. I carry the mail and see their workers parked at gas stations killin time every day.
Thanks

I have never had any problems with WRECC since 1967. Those workers go out in all
weather conditions regardless. Yes they get paid more when out in ice, tornado's, heat
but if they take a few minutes at a "gas station", I am not going to complain. I know nothing of how they do their daily jobs, I only know about making out a check and dropping it in the over nite slot at the drive through window. Maybe they are
catching up on some paper work, maybe they are waiting for instructions or just maybe they are on a break? They probably don't have set hours for their breaks and lunch. I take my breaks at a fast food place daily, some people may also think I was killing time.

I could not possilby care less where they park. I do care when I see "my coop" building an office that they have no real need for using money that should instead be used to reduce my electric rates.

Well we know this isn't going to happen now since Warren fired all the water guys and kicked the water company out and is closing their the electric office in Leitchfield.
