Glad to read that increased patrols, alternative trans. and most probably checkpoints have helped in keeping numbers down for drinking and driving.

Hooray for Gov. Martinez in realizing that something needs to be done for repeat offenders. This article said that out of 128 DWI arrests that 36, roughly 1/4, were repeat offenders, some as much as their 7th time, which is totally ridiculous. They should have their licenses, as well as their vehicles, taken away for a certain amount of time.
