If the government had not made it so hard for law abiding people to own a gun, this thieving trash might think twice about breaking into someone's house.
Anyone who breaks into my house will be carried out feet first. I shoot,no questions,no warning. And I shoot to kill.
It used to be a rare thing for things like this to happen. Now you read about a 'home invasion' almost every day. I think it's a matter of the thieves knowing there is little chance of being caught. I have a friend,a 97 year old man,who had some trash break into his apartment, knock him to the floor, and take his money. This has been a month and the keystone cops around here don't have a clue. Filled out a report and that is the last we heard about it. Calling the local Barney Fife's was a waste of time. Yeah,it was just a simple home invasion...but as this storyb illustrates, people are getting KILLED now.
If the coppers would get to work and shut down the meth labs, get the drug dealers off the street corners, instead of setting up 'seatbelt checkpoints', these trash thieves wouldn't have a place to buy their drugs, which is what (from what I hear) they need the money for.

I HAVE KNOWN ALL THREE OF THEM MOST OF MY LIFE.I BELIEVE IT WAS NOT A ROBBERY. SOME KIND OF A DISSAGREEMENT MAYBE.. BUT NOT A ROBBERY. NONE OF THEM ARE THEIVES. IT IS JUST A VERY SAD SITUATION. NOBOBY KNOWS THE TRUTH BUT JOHNNY & KENNY.GOD BLESS TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE INVOLVED. JOE WAS A VERY GREAT GUY AND NEVER HURT A FLEA. I SEND OUT ALL OF MY SYMPATHY TO JOE'S FAMILY & FRIENDS.

It amazes me that some people use a "disagreement" as an excuse to take another person's life. Their punishment in the hereafter will be more severe than anything that could be given them here on earth.

It is hard for me to make a comment without saying too much. How could a jury justify anything other than a fatal sentance for all involved? No matter what the outcome, two precious lives were brutally taken unjustly. Pay-back should be equally appointed.

I also have known all of the paople involved for many years. It is a very sad tradgedy. But how can you call people you don't even know white trash. None of them have ever been known to be thieves. Knowing Johnny and Kenny like I do, they may be many things but it's hard to believe that either of them are or were capable of murder. No one but the two of them will ever truly know what happened. I have been gone from Bean Station for a while but my heart goes out to the family members of all involved. Joe, you will be sadly missed.

I HAVE TO AGREE WITH THE COMMENTS FROM REDNECK AND SAD, I HAVE KNEW ALL OF THREE OF THE MEN NEARLY ALL OF MY LIFE. I GREW UP AROUND JOE AND JOHNNY NEITHER WOULD HURT A FLEA, AND WERE NOT THIEVES. ALL THREE WERE ALWAYS FRIENDS, JOHNNY AND KENNETH ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO WILL EVER KNOW WHAT HAPPENED OR WENT WRONG, BUT IM SURE THEY DID NOT BREAK INTO THE HOUSE. AND HOW SOMEONE WHO DIDNT KNOW ANY OF THEM CAN CALL THEM WHITE TRASH MAKES ME SICK. MY HEART GOES OUT THO THEM AND ALL THEIR FAMILY.

I feel that it is sad that we set back and judge people in a time like this. White Trash is uncalled for. These families are feeling total greif in either situation. pray for their families.

I totally agree with you.Rutledge is one of the nicest areas around East Tn.You will not find a nicer community and more decent folks than live in Rutledge.Hard working, honest, good hearted-that sums it up.In fact,my family has decided to pack up and move from Knoxville to the Rutledge area. Now if any body wants to talk about a rough area, that would be Knoxville. Its mean and getting worse here!Take it from somebody who knows!

<quoted text>Yes..I have been through Grainger County and a lot of East Tennessee. You only have to read the account of the murder to know at least the killers are white trash. Since birds of a feather flock together..its easy to make the assumption!! Would you agree the 4 black bastards that killed the 2 white people recently are "black thugs". I think the answer is 'Yes' and I will bet you did not know any of them????
I dont think anyone should have the right to call anybody black thugs or white trash no matter what they have done. Personlly I do know all three of the men involved and their familys have for many years, they were all good people. You know none of them and have no right to say anything about any of them. So keep your smart """ remarks to your self. Their familys have done nothing wrong and they are the ones really suffering.

I think that if you don't know these people you shouldn't judge them because if it was someone you knew then it would be a different story.I knew Johnny and Kenny and I know that they are good people and anyone that deosn't know them they need to shut thier mouths!

I think that this person is right thier are too many people that are
calling people names and accusing them and sometimes those people are innocent and didn't do a thing!I know that Johnny and Kenny aren't innocent but gollee give them a break! If you knew these people you feel the same way that I do.So I agree with concerned. So please, pray for them and thier families!

To all of the people who have posted on this forum that knew Johhny, Kenny & Joe, thank you, their families are the ones who are suffering right now. All three of them were good men. and God is the only one that has a right to judge them. so you people that are calling them names and looking down your noses at them have no right to do so. Are you all so perfect yourselves? Well i'm not and I sure as hell bet you're not either. Like I said before, I have known all three of them for almost 20 years and it is a really sad situation all the way around so keep your unwanted comments to yourself if you have nothing better to say. My heart and my prayers go out to friends, family and loved ones that are being affected by this tradgedy.
