A_holes! She is unemployed and figured out a way to support herself with no government help. Leave this poor lady alone.

isn't it great that this woman was busted, now she will most likely go to jail for the rest of her life for selling pot. I understand the why, pot is illegal. However i don't understand why it is, i think pot is far less destructive then alcohol. I think (not sure but makes sense to me) more violent crime is commited when people are drunk as apposed to being high on pot. Maybe it is time to look at the pot issue, with both sides being sober, and stop wasting so much time and money on trying to stop people from doing something that is less harmful then drinking. Oh and btw i'm not a pot smoker, I have tried a long time ago but it makes me sick.

I would feel much safer if police resources were going to solving some of the unsolved murders and missing person cases for this area, instead of going after some small time pot grower. The priorities of our police are not rational when one considers the true risk and danger involved. I would rather this 57 woman be free than the murderer(s) that are still free in our community.

is it a war on drugs or is it a war on who gets to sell them and make the money?
Look at your town or city and think about it who is supplying the drugs to everyone that is doing them is it a little man in your town selling them from his home or is it a large organization that is bringing in large quantities of drugs.
Ok the normal drug user uses approxamitly 1 ounce of marijuana a week, now if your mtown has 10,000 people in it and 40% use then thats 40,000 ounces a week, Right!
So tell me how a person with 6000 marijuana plants that might yeild 6000 ounces every 3 to 4 months can supply 40,000 users or 20,000 users if there is 20% of that town using. In all actuality in the 70's over 80% of the people say they tried marijuana but how may lied about trying and actually use regularly! I would say that out of 10,000 people in a town that at least half the people use regularly so who is the supplier the kid on the corner? The man with 6000 pot plants growing and maturing every 3 to 4 months? Is it a rich man that is importing it? Is it the goverment suppling the drugs to keep the people happy? I know one thing it isnt comming from upstate California or the Feds would have shut that down right away!
Someone is making a fool out of the American people and busting small time drug dealers to show us they are doing thier job when all the drugs are being brought in by our goverment, big time drug smugglers, small timers, growers, anyone who will take the chance so when they bust them people believe something is being done when it is just a shaddow bust, a way to keep the people that are complaining that drugs are present and they are complaing because they have to be pee tested at work and are jealous so if they cannot use it then they don't want anyone using. If you don't believe me make drug testing mandintory for polititions and everyone in the USA and you will find the truth and it will surprise you! But the suppliers arn't being busted in grow operations. The grow operations are set up for the sick and the rich so they can get drugs that are not tainted and never will be, they call it hydroponics and they bust them once in awhile because they have been exposed and everyone knows who they are and it looks like the DEA and Police have a handle on it but in reality there are 3 to 10 operations that have already taken thier place. It is just a big game of cat and mouse and they call it a drug war..and no one better call it a gateway drug because it is a scientific fact it isn't.

If the Police can over look what is happening in the Pot scene in California what makes it different here?
She was just helping people who do not feel good or are really sick deal with thier crummy lives she wasn't hurting or killing anyone. Yet the PD busts her but they don't even try to find out what happened in the Tom Conrad case when he was murdered not to long ago, it just shows that the war on drugs is a failed attempt to stop pot use just like moonshine was and proabition. When will these Bigots who use pot and sell pot because the police let them do it because they are on the don't touch list get away with selling and or growing and might even be some of the suppliers posing as Po's just so the public will not rise up against the goverment, never mind the heroin and coke dealers which are a way bigger problem than simple pot smokers.
We as Americans should be able to make the choice of whatever drug we use or sell as long as everyone involved is over 21 and the drugs are grown in the USA not imported causing a health threat to the public. I want to know where the Bush family and other politicians get thier illegal drugs they use and why it is ok for them but not others, BIGOTS I say.

i can attest to the fact that pot helps releave pain, cause i have enough pain for many, lets look at this this way i sarted as a seed to grow by god now dammed to hell by most, for me its a blessing if you cant put your money where your mouth is shut up, and by the way fucking spelling a word wrong has nothing to do with pot

The facts are simply not revealed in this case for obvious reasons. She was not growing pot for pain or for her own use, she was growing it in an elaborate, well planned, well maintained, state of the art grow room, with hydro clonning equipment and timed high spectrum grow lights to maxamize harvest,...so that she could sell it. It was high quality and high priced weed. She chose not to work because she did not want to. I am not saying the laws are right or wrong but I am so sick of everyone feeling sorry for her. She ran with the big dogs and she faced the consequences without accepting a deal or plea bargain so if you are knowledgable at all that tells volumes. I know what I am saying because I saw with my own eyes.

When we consider the often tragic consequences of alcohol use....and it is legal....why NOT make marijuana legal too? Hey...the more depressants the better..... medicate the old anxiety????!!!! Actually w/more depressants there'll be a reason for what currently appears to be dulled stupidity! As the economy worsens and the powerful become even more corrupt, some type of way to calm the public will be welcomed with open arms. If Joe and Jane Public are lulled into unawareness, fewer state militia will be necessary...just in case it gets to that point when there are no jobs and people are starving. In addition to Rx drugs, alcohol......why NOT pot? Domestic violence, the dumbing of america, street violence, cocaine stabbings/shootings/murders... What on earth harm could a little marijuana do? Might have a calming effect.... A little wave of the old tax wand, and marijuana will be as legal as alcohol! Talk about patriotic virtue! What would we ever do without that good old tax wand.

Ever wonder if a connection may exist between some of the many murders (stabbings, strangulations, shootings, MIAs, etc) and unapproved crop farming? You know...maybe it's a result of tying up loose ends to preserve the continuation of the crop. Instead of ddt and dusting....other means to rid the crop growers of pests are employed... Any thoughts? A lot of older, out-of-state beaters with the lone driver cruisin' one-way to the White Mtn area? That area of the state almost appears to me some sort of mecca for single women.....drivin' the beater to paradise?....never to be seen again?

Ever visit the idea that it might not take much to make a fool out of the average American? For example, just as we are being threatened, herded like sheep about to be pushed over the "fiscal cliff"....we are being simultaneously introduced to the more than possible reality of heading into another war (Syria)? In my opinion the entire scenario is being presented each day via tv to the American public like some sort of soap opera, complete with characters (good guys-bad guys) and even a sound track thumping in the background. What is this about??????
