I think they should go ahead and start it. The sooner they start then the sooner we can go ahead and move on to the next person. By then (hopefully) it will be time for the Edenfields trial to start. Its time for Christopher to get justice.

I hope the trial come quick as well but that rarely happens. It usually take atleast 2 years. But Destiny Norton's case went to trial in just months and the killer was sentenced to life. It only took months, I'm hoping Christopher's case gets through like that.

Absolutely, these monsters need to be put away for the rest of their lives. I wonder if they have the death penalty in that state?

In Georgia when a person is sentenced to death, they execute them quickly. It takes up to 20 years in other states but in Georgia they are executed within 10. My angel Keenan Omailia was killed by a predator in Georgia in 1999. He was executed in 2006!

Good grief....,when families need justice served, the system takes forever. My childrens father was stabbed to death this April. The killer wanted the engine from his truck. Their father was terminally ill, and my children have such anger issues going on right now. I can have empathy for what you are going through. It never goes away, but time seems to mellow the pain. This killer is in a mental hospital, and they say he is not competant to stand trial. He sure was competant enough to kill a man!! For an engine!

The DA told us that he's expecting the trial for the Edenfields to start around the first of the year. So I'm really hoping for that. It doesn't make any since why they have to drag these things out. They should just start it as soon as possible. Why make the family wait for Justice.

That just goes to show how some people will play the system. They understand what they are doing when they break the law but once they get caught, they act like they didn't know it was a bad thing. If your able to committ a crim then you are able to pay for it how ever the law sees fit.

That's right. And what angers me is that there is nothing I can do until his competency hearing. And by law they can keep him in a mental hospital until he is declared competent, then after ten or so years, they can release him into the public. This is when my fighter spirit will turn into a demon from hell, and I will go to the state with this. We do not need killers on the streets. If they kill once, I think that is evidence enough right there, that they need to be taken out for good.

The justice system can seem to take way too long when a loved one is the victim. Look at how long Mark Lunsford had to wait for Couey to go to trial. He still has a much longer wait for final justice (Couey's execution.) Has the prosecutor told you and Mike why it is taking so long? Is it because the attorneys for the 4 monsters keep filing motions? Maybe if everything is done now, to assure these creeps get a fair trial, there will be less chance a guilty verdict will be thrown out on appeal. But I understand how you and Mike must feel. It is so unfair the victim's family have little if any rights. Maybe our whole criminal justice system should be scrapped. I understad, but not saying for sure, in most countries the accused must prove they the are innocent. Christopher will have justice.

Because of the fact that Dale was allegedly covering up for the Edenfields, his offences are inextricably connected with theirs. Therefore, he should either be tried alongside, or after, them.
I've said this on another thread - sorry!

I pray and hope this trial will executed in a timely fashion. Also that the edenfields will be executed sooner rather than later, why keep them alive? They offer nothing to society. Just let them meet there maker. Why can't our justice system just see these kinds of people really have no place on earth with our children.
After reading about them and what they did to that precious little boy, and after looking at their pitiful faces.....,I could never be on the jury. What a sick family.

However, the defendants should be executed in an extremely slow fashion.

That's another reason why the death penalty is in order. Not only did he commit the offence, but putting family and friends through the agony of having to relive their experiences in court by not confessing...well, I'd say that is an aggravating circumstance, wouldn't you?

I think so also, as he may have some mentality disorders. What in the hell was he hanging around those people for? They probably were satisfying their sick desires on him also. I wonder if he is retarded, and how badly? They make my skin crawl.
I wish I could be at the trials to see how justice will be served.

I too think the edenfields may have been doing some freakish with Dale as well, and if he is somewhat mentally disabled then he was just another victim of this horrif monster tales from the crypt, chainsaw massacre family. The father edenfield had a charge of incest but not with his son. I wonder which family member that was with. He is a true evil monster who deserves nothing less than DEATH!

The worst was seeing these monsters sitting in the courtroom with them and knowing how many children and their families lives have been affected by these unhuman monsters that lived off the fear and control of their victims.I dont understand how someone can look at a child in a sexual manor it is behond anything I can imagine.
