I totally agree. I honestly believe that they could have gotten all the monsters the DP. She is just as guilty as the other 2 evil [email protected] Watching her on that stand made me physically ill. Nonetheless, she will get what is coming to her one way or the other...Still, she should not have been given the opportunity to cut a deal. Her testimony didn't even hurt her husband, his own words and actions did, so her deal was for absolutely nothing other than to save her rotten useless life! UGH!

I know in the case of David's (the father's) trial, Peggy's testimony DID make a difference. With the taped confession from David they could only make the "child molestation" charge stick. With Peggy's taped confession they could also make 2 charges of "aggravated child molestation/sodomy" stick which added an extra 200 years onto his sentence.

I'm not sure how the system works, but to me her "deal" should be thrown out because she did not do what she agreed to do... she said she would tell the truth about what happened... which she did for about the first hour or so, then lied through her teeth for many more hours after that. Also, part of her deal was to tell what happened to Christopher's clothes, which she would not do. My honest opinion is that she did not hold up her end of the bargain so why should prosecuters hold up thiers?

Exactly and like someone else said it seems like the confessions and the evidence would have been enough to convict, however, I think the prosecutor's wanted air tight case for the death penalty and that is why the eye witness well the bug eyed eye witness "peggy" was sought afterÂ… Perhaps they will bright to light everything Peggy actually did in her trial or will she have a trial? If she pleaded guilty it would save the tax payers money.

Right, lets stick with the original topic shall we? Why do some people feel the need to continuously rehash the gory details of Christophers' suffering? I again think it is akin to picking a scab as another poster put it.

If you could care less who I am, then why did you attack me about it in the first place? Just because my opinion is different than yours?

No Dear... you attacked me, Look back at the responses. I never responded to you on this thread until now. what you NEED to do is to stick to the script, plain and simple. The topix posters want to discuss the case, don't try and make it about you! the thread topic is: Prosecutor: Boy, 6, begged killers to 'let me go!'
if you can't stick to the topic, if you don't want to read the horrific details then stay away and don't read, respond or comment! Every one is not as weak minded as yourself.

THANK YOU! I agree! I get so tired of these side-trackers who want to make it all about them and belittle those who disagree. This is SUPPOSED to be a discussion of the thread topic. People can agree to disagree if needs be, but stick to the topic! Hope all involved get ALL that is coming to them! Poor little boy must have been scared half to death and in alot of pain. I can't even call the perpetrators animals because that is an insult to animals! And yes, I know we are all animals, but humans are supposedly above this sort of behavior!

I have no problem on how the Edenfield die. As long as they die and it is as painful as possible.

May God continue to Bless the entire family of Christopher Michael Barrios Jr. May the Lord help them cope with their loss.

There are alot of things that I would like to remark about this article...but it would take a task force...one thing I would like to comment on though is that
the child was disposed of as 'garbage' stranled and then disposed of in a garbage bag AFTER being abused. Come on folks. Don't you see the writting on the wall? Put YOURSELF IN THAT POSITION....eh, how old was he? I wounder how
our troops would feel when they come acrossed an article like this about their homeland....and America sits idly by.......I'm not idle I make noise.
