Instead of a comment, I have a question I want to ask you. Why do you have this almost on the bottom of this screen under the local news article?

I can't believe the court system has failed again What are we paying the judges for. They let this monster walk so he could kill this little boy. my opinion is that he molested this little boy and he's family covered it up to protect him and killed the little boy. Like i said i can't not believe they let him go when people are put in prison everday for lesser crimes. It should be passed that if you are convicted of doing a crime against a child you should be put to death no questions asked no this is not humane. Why should we care if its humane or not when that little boy will never see pass he's 6th birthday.

The Lord, Jesus Christ is returning, and all those who has harmed a child will reap judgement...I say stone them all to death...no jail or prison...immediate death.

I hope no mercy is shown to the sick S.O.B. or his family and friend for what they have done to this little boy and his family. The courts and the judge that placed this man on probation back in 97 should be punished as well. I sincerely hope that whatever judge allowed this man to walk back then is still alive and remembers the man's face as he watches it in the news right now. I sincerely hope that, that judge feels some sort of responsibility and shame on himself now.

If the rumor is true that this man may once again walk due to "having the mind of a 5 year old" then I honestly do hope that the little boy's father has a moment of temperary insanity and seeks the cruelest form of revenge on this bastard that he can think of. I have a four year old and a 13 year old and neither of my children have ever had a mind like that! Does the defense really expect anyone to believe that this man cannot withstand the punishment that he is due, because he has a mind of a 5 year old? I don't know any five year old who is that sick. That bastard's mom and dad should be held responsible along with his buddy, and the judge that let him loose the first time around, and the manager of the trailor park who rented to the family without doing a background check on all of them first, knowing the trailor park was full of young children. But most importantly the mother and father should be severely punished for this little boys death, for trying to hide it and protect their sick bastard son! God forbid my son ever do ANYTHING illegal, I promise I will turn him in the minute I hear of it! I WILL NOT PROTECT ANYONE WHO THINKS IT IS OKAY TO HURT SOMEONE WHO IS WEEKER AND SMALLER THAN THEY ARE!

I think the parents & Grandmother should take some responsibility in this childs death. They knew there was a child molester living across the way and told the boy they were bad people. My question is "What is a 6 yr old child doing outside by himself for almost 2 hours when there is a known child molester living next door?"

the judges should be locked up, and the people who done this should be immediately tortured then killed all 4 of them, and that still wouldnt be justice for the baby who got killed

I agree with most of the comments that are said so far and I really have the deepest sympathy for lil Chris's family, but there are alot of people at fault here. Maybe this will be an eye opener for everyone to watch their little ones a little closer and at all times. The people or persons who had anything to do with this beautiful childs death or cover up, should pay for it dearly. PUT TO DEATH! is the only punishment that will be suitable for this type of crime. I use to be totally against the death penalty, the more I think about how these awful people took this baby away from his family and friends, the more I pray for these low-life's to go straight to prison. We do not want them around our kids, period! They should not be allowed to be in society ever again.

I am so lost for words at this moment. The state failed Christopher Barrios. Why would they give that ba#$%^&$ 10yrs. probation instead of jail time? I am so lost for words. I just don't get it. The state is as much to blame as the sicko's that hurt this precious child. My prayers goes out to the Barrios' Family.

Burn all of them, including the judge who failed this child. I don't wish death on anyone, but in this case I will. Cut those two filthy ass men up into small pieces, and then burn the nasty ass mother's crotch. Kill them, no trials, no mercy, just DEATH.

I personally think that anybody convicted of a sexual crime against a child should be castrated immediatly. I also don't understand how a judge and jury could not have sent this man to prison the first time around. I hope that they have seen this tragedy on the news and think that this could have been avoided if they had done the right thing.
To the family, my family's prayers are with you.

I agree with you whole heartedly, I think the Law should convert to an eye for an eye...They need to be tortured, the same way that Christopher were, they need to breath their last breath in fear, pain, torture, and then tossed like trash, and I think the world wouldnt miss them one bit!! They need to be rapped, choke to near death, cut to bleed slowly to death and thrown on an ant bed, he need to have alcohol poured down his___ to feel even greater pain, he needs I could only say what, there is nothing in this world that could do justice for Christopher, the electric chair isnt painful enough, I hope someone in prison give this family there just reward!! I am so mad!!
