Did I miss the "delivery of the fabulous insult to some guy named sabo, a ranting about the bastardization of the 'homeboy' justice system in gloucester, etc, you know, the usual rant and rave......."?

Can someone tell me if this event has already taken place anf no one cared to report it, or has it not happened yet? I'm anxious to tune in!

It hasn't happened yet. That is just bill (aka Cym) crabbing about the Daily Press reporter, Matt Sabo. bill isn't interested in the reporting because he doesn't like what Sabo has said. But then, bill doesn't like to see the truth. That's because he's Resslers's pet who hangs around these board spreading misinformation.

Yeah, I kinda got the impression that he was a fan of the disgraced Supervisors. But I just can't imagine what negative things he could possibly have to say about Mr. Sabo. I don't know either of those gentlemen, but certainly Mr. Sabo's reporting has done wonders to shed light on all that has transpired in Gloucester County.

I also cannot understand why the group of four continue to act the way that they do, and still want everyone to believe they will act in the best interest of the county. Bottom line is that they put the county in a position of having no leadership by removing Whitley and Stuck, and allowed inexperienced friends to get involved in the management of our local government.

Ms. Ressler should take a cue from her husband's business, which I understand suffered a tremendous blow as a result of her involvement in this whole charade. I think the citizens of Gloucester County would understand if a mistake was made, but there is no way to understand lies, deception and malice. And to think that Cym/Bill is going to go on a tyrade to try to bully us into forgiving the foul four is sure to be entertaining!

I guess he got what he wanted: attention and an audience. I feel sorry for him --- he is so brainwashed that he doesn't realize that he is about to make a total jacka** of himself.

Go Carter! Go Louise! Go Matt Sabo!
(I wonder if Mr. Sabo would want to be on the Board? Wouldn't that be fantastic!? Can we twist his arm? How about it, Mr. Sabo?)

I hope that the county decides to appeal paying the legal fees. The people who hired the attorneys should pay for them, especially since it was their actions that led to the need for attorneys in the first place. From everything I've seen and read, there is no disputing the actions that took place, only the logic and pre-meditation behind the actions.

If the county ends up paying for the legal fees, I wonder if the county can then sue the Board of Supervisors members for incurring additional expenses for the recruitment and hiring of all of the "interim" staff that was needed when Whitely and Stuck were forced out early. Mismanagement of Funds? Putting the county at risk? Violation of Ethics? I doubt it could happen, but boy, wouldn't it be nice...?

Is there a rule that would prevent the four Supervisors for voting on the issue? I don't trust them to recluse themselves from the vote when the time comes simply because of ethics or morals.

bill is blindly loyal to this group because he has Ressler's ear. Or so he thinks. He feels Ressler will listen to him and his crazy rantings about more control on hunters. Ressler brought this up before she was in the majority. When she found out the hunters were coming out in force to voice their displeasure, she backed down because she was in the middle of a political campign. Since then, she is letting bill lead the charge, with his "committee" to look into more stringent hunting regulations, which has empowered bill. That is what he wants. He enjoys the power trip. So when this board goes down, he'll lose that power.

That is why he is blaming Sabo and anyone who'll says anything negative about this board. He is selfserving, plain and simple.

The problem is the board needs four votes to authorize the county attorney to appeal the fees. I don't see that happening. The four who owe the attorney fees aren't in the position to pay them, well Ressler possible could. But without four votes, I don't see it happening. And is anyone as annoyed with Ressler as I am over this issue. When Theberge tried to bring it up at the last board meeting, Ressler (as the board chairperson) shut her down. That didn't happen when Ressler was in the minority. One of the reasons the people voted for change is that TA and Ressler complained loudly to anyone who would listen, they weren't being included in the process, yet, every board chairperson always allowed TA and Ressler to voice their opininons. The votes just didn't go their way. Yet, given the chance to hear an opposing opinion, Ressler didn't allow it to happen. Yet, no one has heard Therberge whining, like TA and Ressler did. That's because she is looking out for what is best for the county, not her own ambitions. She will just have it put on the agenda for the next meeting, which is this Tuesday. So go and listen to this and we shall see where everyone stands. It should be interesting.

I don't know if the laws in VA are the same as in NC but in NC a member cannot vote on any issue that would affect their "personal" finances. Voting on things such as taxes is not limited to their personal finances. I say that to clarify the difference since of course some votes will affect a members finances as well as the citizens.

The 4 BOS members have received 1, and I really think 2 opinons already from either a former commonwealth attorney or judge (from another part of Va - out of our area) that their voting on this is be a conflict of interest, but they've taken it to Va's Attorney General.

Go back to May, that is when the 4 asked for a State Attorney Generals opinion..... It's now what... mid October.... Don't you think if they were going to give an opinion they would have had it by now? Shoot, according to the newspaper, Tommy Normant got his opinion in less than 30 days, hand delivered no less. Mr. Troy used to work there, you would think he could get them to give an opinion in a timely manner. It's been almost 5 month folks....

You can change your name, but your message is the same, insult rather than point out facts. And I'll keep saying it. Those who attack with insults do so because they know their position is undefensible.

You said it, Oscar! He's as out of touch with reality as his board buddies. He's probably so embarrassed today, knowing he made a fool of himself AGAIN. Poor guy.

He and an few others have gone overboard with the language. Find solice in other areas of communicating on this issue. It is quite amazing just how stupid some of these billyboy's types have survived this long. Simply amazing.

"Why don't WE just make it go away? And move on...." I can't quite see how the word WE would apply to a resident of Seaford, VA, which is not located in Gloucester County. The cost of the fees wouldn't come out of your pocket. And the slimey Supervisor's who would end up with a WIN by your approach wouldn't be governing you in any way.

bill would love for this to "go away" because he's Ressler's mouthpiece. If you've seen him at public functions (like town hall meetings) when Ressler is there, he's like a puppy dog, panting after her and grinning while "exchanging" information with her.
