On Nov. 20, 2006, the bodies of four females were found lying in a drainage ditch along the Black Horse Pike in Egg Harbor, Atlantic County, New Jersey near the Golden Key Motel. All were found lying on their stomach, barefoot, with their faces pointing east. The victims ranged in age from 20 to 42 years old and all were asphyxiated. Not surprisingly, the Atlantic County Prosecutor Jeffrey Blitz announced there were similarities in the murders, but wouldn’t state that the same man committed the crimes.
As of August 2010 the murders remain unsolved.
On Tuesday, August 24, 2010, the body of an unnamed 40-year-old female was found in room 4 of the Golden Luck Motel, Black Horse Pike, Washington Township, Gloucester County, New Jersey. The victim’s hands were cuffed behind her back and several clear plastic bags were over her head. Seemingly she had arrived at the motel on Friday August 20, and paid for four days in advance. At about 11:30am on Tuesday, the motel manager had gone to the victim’s room to ascertain if she wanted to extend her stay. Unable to gain entrance to the room due to a dresser against the door, the manager summoned help from another motel resident to force the door open. The unnamed victim was found face down on the bed dressed in a nightgown. Whether she was shoeless or not was not described. Immediately the police were called. In less than four hours the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s investigators and the Washington Township police announced that the victim had committed suicide. The investigators said that due to evidence found in the room they had reached this determination. However, they refused to divulge what the evidence was and a note was not mentioned. Naturally, this announcement was made prior to the autopsy and before items such as fingerprints could be processed, rather a hasty announcement. No mention was made as to how the victim arrived at the motel since she didn’t drive a car there, nor was it stated if a handcuff key was recovered.
The alleged suicide may be exactly that even though it is a very rare method, especially for a female, to suffocate oneself. Why she would move a reportedly heavy dresser to block the door when she had 4 days to pick a time when she wouldn’t be interrupted is strange. Lack of information about the case causes speculation. What woman arrives at a motel without a car and carries handcuffs? Why is there so much secrecy about this case when it has been declared a suicide, meaning case closed, no further investigation?
Serial murderers never stop killing unless they die or are captured. However, no crime causes more concern to the law enforcement community than an ongoing serial case. Careers are jeopardized and pressures to solve the case mount daily. Simply releasing the missing information in this case could eliminate all of this conjecture.

i am her ex boyfriend and i know what happened. she tried a few years earlier and was stopped by myself. she said next time she will not fail. she had notes for all in the family including her kids, and her car was an enterprise rent a car that she turned in on the black horse pike in turnersville by the wawa and went to the fantasy gifts and got the handcuffs she was on video doing this. and she went to the motel we did not know which one and we could not find her she used an alias to check in. we all mourn her passing but it was her choice. we just could not help her.

It's still insane that they never caught the A.C. serial killer.
