I have been researching the effects of hydrofracking for over 2 years . Most of my information was received through the NYTimes & other info from scientists. Hydrofracking will contaminate the water and once contaminated cannot be cleaned.Landowners will be held responsible for the pollution of any water sources. Gas companies can be told they cannot frack & then the companies will find a safe way to get to the gas. At this time, there is no way to manage the migration of the toxic chemicals used in this process. Look to the state of PA, where a Senator introduced a bill called the Frac Act to ban hydrofracking in the state. If this production is so grand in terms of jobs & fuel, why would this bill be written.? Imagine trying to live without water. Nothing to drink, bathe with, run hospitals with, resturants, farms...what will happen to all of those jobs;& people.? We have a chance to be wise and not be manipulated by false fears. The water will be contaminated. Please tell the governor to ban hydrofracking. Save the water.
