Albion prison worker charged in sex case

A male employee at the Albion Correctional Facility in Orleans County has been charged with having sexual contact with a female inmate.

Let's see, we have male guards watching female inmates and female guards watching male inmates and yet we're surprised that this kind of thing is constantly happening?

I personaly know this girl, she is paying for her crime, I think it is very unfair that she has to pay again at the hands of this low life who also calls himself a Councilman in Darien. I believe he should lose any and all retirment and pensions he is entitled to...

Men do not belong in women's prisons. Period. Fire that filthy pig from his high paying guard job with gobs of benefits and retirement pkg. and give it to a qualified woman who needs it who won't rape and harass the prisoners. Let him be prosecuted and go on welfare thereafter, or work at Walmart or McDonalds.

Yea it is, a shame, it is a shame that many of the CO's only have a high school education, and if you knew how many women, in NYS prisons give birth due to rape it would blow your mind.,These children of rape by these guards, are then placed into foster care here in NYS and put up for adoption. The women that had been forceably raped, then indure years of councelling, and many are in the process of trying to locate thier children. NYS needs to have a totally revamped Corrections Department, and Mr. Fisher whom is the Commissioner of Corrections should clean house, and then step down.

after he cleans house (which he wont) maybe they'll call me for a job. ive been on the damn waiting list for 2 years now.
you have guys waiting for these jobs, yet they hardly ever get rid of anybody.
like they say it takes an act of god to get fired from a state job.
its hard to believe that there are about 26,000 correction officers, yet no one ever retires, gets fired, etc., etc., etc.

i think some do retire but then they have thrir family or friends take there place, just like any other county or state jobs, its not who has the best resame its who has the browner nose (A** KISSING) so they know which one to bring in to work.

the only way would be if they are already in the system and they bid there way back here from down state. and its a test you have to pass to even be eligible to get the job in the first place. then you spend 8 weeks in training in albany then you get sent down state to sing-sing, where it takes over a year to work your way back to home.

NOBODY KNOWS BETTER THEN THE WOMEN WHO HAVE BEEN THERE THEMSELVES. NOT ALL THE GUARDS ARE BAD. BUT SADLY ABOUT 85% PERCENT ARE PIGS. SOME WOMEN WHO GET SENT TO PRISON BECAUSE OF PETTY CRIMES THAT DONT OFTEN CALL FOR PRISON TERMS. ALOT OF WOMEN IN PRISON HAVE BEEN ABUSED BY MEN THEIR WHOLE LIVES, ADDICTED TO DRUGS AND HAVE HAD THEIR CHILDREN TAKEN AWAY FROM THEM. THESE PRISON GUARDS KNOW THESE THINGS AND HAVE ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION. I HAVE SEEN MORE CRAP GO ON IN THAT PLACE THEN I EVER THOUGHT OF SEEING WHEN I WAS A FREE WOMEN. IF A GUARD IS IN TROUBLE THEY WILL ALL STICK UP FOR EACH OTHER. IT REALLY IS AS SAD SITUATION. I GOT HIT ON MORE IN PRISON THEN AT A NIGHT CLUB.

i have a daughter in law at albion right now. she wanted to no if she can give any info about what she talks to her councilor about to a friend of hers or is that confidential. or does she need to sign some kind of release form for her friend to get her info of where she will be paroled and different thing she does there can any one answer the question

To Linda: "Daughter-in-Law" If your daughter-in-law is on the kitchen staff, she would be either in L-1-or L-2, if she is in the honor dorms, then that would be C-3 Or B-1...L1 and L2 had a large drug bust last Tuesday. 2 Guards arrested and other inmates sent to SHU-"Special Housing Unit", for 120 days plus added time to sentence for promoting contraband with the intent to sell. The investigation is not over yet, more too go down. Then it will be in the newspapers. Just a friendly inside tip.

How can some one be doing kitchen work when she was just sentenced nov 9th 2009 to bedford hills and then transferred to albion in jan of 2010 is that possible to work the kitchen area that soon
