My ex-husband was a member of the Pembroke class of 87. It was just the first in a string of tragic accidents that hit the driving teens of the area over the next five years. It became an unspoken rule amongst the youth in the Pembroke/Oakfield/Alabama area -party all you want, even if you're not 21(as an adult and parent I now look diferently upon that)BUT ALWAYS HAVE A DD(designated driver) Many schools in the area stopped offering driver's education beacuse of the accident. Even after all these years, I still turn off the radio for a moment of silence when I drive by the site of the crash.
