On the web site Character 1st.Com found this was wondering Wes Lane was once Da. of Oklahoma and promotes this program
Gothard has found a way to make a handsome living repackaging his old "Character Sketch
material and selling it to public schools and city governments. All he did to give it a
secular appearance was to remove the bible quotes and biblical citations.
Today’s crime, juvenile delinquency, broken families, and overcrowded prisons this point you might find interesting that the Cooperation of America supports character first and controls most of the private prisons.
Is due to the decline of lack of individual character.
If this is so than what about the ones promoting this program? Do as I say not as I do.
There are no facts to back up any of their claims such as the evil cabbage patch doll
interfering with child birth other than in their material.

Or how about quality products such as telling one the use of her name during the election just a campaign thing and will be over in a few days even thou the statements where not true. Service to the people that put him in office to protect their rights and freedoms not promote a program. Team work putting out rules and not explaining to the police that have to carry them out.
When practiced by all personnel, character qualities like diligence, dependability, and thoroughness provide lasting solutions to workplace problems. Diligence like not providing even pay raises to his staff. Dependability and thoroughness such as having the truth and acting on it.

He’s was suppose to be a role model one among several. There may be a need to teach character but not in the court system to advance a vision. If there is a need to teach character it’s not in our school system but starting at home in the family with their parents not turning them into religious soldiers. Character is not only the basics of what they learn from their parents but those they come in contact with through out their life. They are in school to learn reading writing and math and this seems to be falling through the cracks with the latest drop out rates in several schools in Oklahoma. To point that it’s the fault of low character is a cope out. You might notice the only schools to get funding from the character first program are ones that are promoting their vision. Ask yourself where the money goes from the school system buying the character first products? This is a non profit. Ask yourself who’s tracking the money? Why are there people selling this on E-bay? Why the only place you see evidence to back up claims such as the cabbage patch doll being evil is from the own news letters.
