I know Paul Bramlett personally. He is my uncle, actually. I cannot believe some kid would say this stuff about him. He would never hurt anyone. He does nothing but help others. In all the other schools he has taught at, he has done nothing but improve every band he has been director for. He has impacted so many students and people in general. If you only met him, you would know what I mean. Uncle Paul is an amazing person and has an incredible heart. He has a wonderful family and loves them very dearly. He cares so much for the people in his life and I wouldn't doubt it that he is praying for that student who falsly accused him at this very moment. He has a heart of gold and he is loved by so many people. I just pray that the truth comes out and he and his family can go back to living a normal life. It's in God's hands now.

Mr. Bramlett took the accuser into his home because the kid was abused at his own parents home. He provided all financial support for the kid for a long time. The kid used the Bramlett family and then accused Mr. Bramlett when he got approved for financial aid for college, with help from Mr. Bramlett. The kid is a known homosexual in his home town and has told some friends that this accusation really did not happen. Now his parents, that did not care enough about him a few years ago to even provide any financial support, are encouraging him to go after the Bramletts. As a result, a fine Christian man that I would trust, and have trusted with my own kids in his care, is being accused and his reputation damaged. I hope the truth comes out and the accuser is then charged with a false report and sued.

I knew Bramlett when he was the band director in Navasota ISD. He was an awesome change for our band! He not only changed the way we played, he also improved out band as an organization to be respected! He was never in any questionable situations there, instead only maintaining a professional relationship with all his students and coworkers. Paul Bramlett was definately the best band director I have ever had. He expected the best from us as well as the best from himself! I totally do not buy this story!

Our neighbors grandson moved to this school, he was invited to this mans home for "extra" lessons. He was molested and was withdrawn from that school and sent to another school in the area. He was threatened and afraid to tell what happened to him. Sounds like this guy is guilty.

I am sickened by how quick people accuse another without knowing all the facts. How come only the people that know nothing about the case are the ones that the TV stations interview? How about interviewing the kids that are left confused and upset in the band, that can't believe something like this would happpen to thier mentor or friend

I am of course concerned for the well being of any child who might have been molested, but I'm also skeptical, it will be interesting to know what kind of evidence they have found, or if this is all based on the students' account.

I am sicked at how people stand behind people they don't really know and say they are innocent. If you knew what a child has been through and the life that was destroyed I think they would change their mind. Most young children don't make up stories of being raped. It is a slow process to find out why a child no longer wants to be in the band, go to school and withdraws from the life they once had.

These "young children" are teenagers. Male teenagers. Their hormones are racing at this time and since they are minors, the cases have to get looked at closer because its against an adult. This doesn't mean that what they accused the adult of is true. Heck, they probably don't even know what it does to the adult's life and the reputation they get after being falsely accused of something like this. It has to be taken super seriously because its law. And people start to freak out when they hear about things like this because they think it might have been their child. I wonder what the actual percentage of students is that this legitimately happens to. I'm just saying that not all cases like this are true. Sometimes the minor just wants attention that, say, they aren't getting from home, so they go about it the wrong way.

You may want to gather more information before you make comments about a man you have never met. People always go on a witch hunt when it involves protecting children. What about this innocent mans's children? They have arrested a man who has not had a trial and is being held in jail away from his family. For God's sake, there are two sides to the story and you better take a closer look at the charactor of the two young boys who started this mess and why they said what they did about Mr. Bramlett! It was vindication on their part and if they had any charactor at all, they would step up to the plate and right the wrong!

i am very confused. This man tutored me after school in his spare time. he helped drive my desire for music. this was 19 years ago. i do agree that he is a capable, talented, driven, and inspiring mentor. i do not have the facts to judge the situation, but i do feel it important to illustrate that every deviant has a soft side, psychologically speaking.oh the masks we wear.this can hold true for the accusser or the accussed. either way this plays out, i hope that there are guidence counselors being offered to both parties.

Mr.B was one of the most influencial teachers, private instructor, and supportive person I had when growing up. He was my band director at Keller Middle School 16 years ago. His support of the students, and very true concern for their well being and musical growth make him one of the best influences I ever had. I haven't seen any real evidence, nor know the facts of this current situation, but I seriously doubt these allegations. Mr.B is a great teacher, and a wonderful man, to whom I owe a debt of grattitude for the amazing influence he had on my life. My thoughts and prayers are with him.

Who said "raped" as of yet. big difference in rape, molestation and indecency ect.... let the facts prevail before stones are thrown at anyone. Rumors get started with the kind of crap written here.

I have been a band member for the last 3yrs. I know both the kids and director personaly. There is no chance that the band director is guilty!!! Its sad that his reputation is being demolished by the media AND two strainge kids!

Wonderful LITTLE Boy???? He is over 18 years old and turned in an innocent man because he was angry with him. He is lying through his teeth. His family- Good people??? They didn't care about him and that is why he went to live with the Bramletts. The boy was a homosexual who was mad at the Bramlett's because they didn't let him 'see' an over-age student when he was under-age. Paul is a wonderful Christian man who wouldn't hurt a fly.

It makes me so sad to see this happening to this family and all you people with negative comments against Paul should feel horrible about yourself for saying things like that when you don't even know him or his family. If you think about it, any of you could have easily been accused of all this... just think, anytime your child has had a friend over to your house, they could have just turned around and accused you of inappropriate activities... when nothing happened at all! It is horrible to think about but everyone will turn against you. I'll pray that it doesn't happen to you and your families. But please pray for Paul and the Bramlett family. They need to truth to come out so they can move on with their lives.

I do not know this man. I know Winnsboro had a wonderful band. When my church turned on me, no one cared to investigate. I should have sued them all, people in the church actually would not speak to me, they shunned me. the Minister had sat in my class and he turned on me. I could tell you things about him, too, but I won't. Christians, they call themselves!

Paul Bramlett is truly innocent. I know for a fact he is. I know the guy he took in, and I know what kind of character that person has. Paul Bramlett was something that there is very little of today; a good person. He cares about his students, loves his wife, and has 2 kids. If he was into little boys, then why weren't any of us propositioned? When he was giving me extra lessons after school, you know what we talked about? Music. You know what happened between us? He taught, I listened. He was a great mentor for me, and continues to be. "you either die a hero, or live long enough for someone to make you into a villian." and as I said before, I know the guy who accused him, I know his character, he isn't right, and he probably did this in retaliation to something mr bramlett told him he couldn't do. People these days.
