Yes, I've read the multiple versions of Pellicano's ever-shifting resume'. In one, he claims to have been a Director of UPS one year after he graduated from high school. Has anyone checked on his lawsuit for being fired, or the numerous shady land deals? This guy is as phony as they come

More blatant lies. I do my research before I support a candidate. I am appalled that you and the Thomas camp continue to lie about him. ONCE AGAIN, where does YOUR candidate stand on the issues, or his record? That is right, not a peep.

I have personally looked into Dan Pellicano about these issues, since they have been on previous blogs. I even spoke with two of the people in his resume reference list. He has never been fired. The lawsuit you refer to is against a child care firm that put his children in danger. All his resume references are people he worked with, worked for, or who worked for him. And as far as land deals, well that one you just plain made up.

So as noted earlier by several in this blog, where does your candidate stand on the $20MILLION+ tax increase since 2001? Or where does he stand for even CONSIDERING a $50MILLION project during the worst economic collapse in 80 years. Or for giving himself a raise during all of this upheaval. AND, where does he stand on the almost 200% tax increase.

I suppose that when you can't stick to the facts, all that is left is lies.

Supporter, I share your grief. Fact is, most of us folks here in Franklin County can see through all this BS from the incumbents. We can pick out the pepper from, well you know. We know that David and the two Bobs are toast. They are desperate and hoping the truth about them does not come out. Let's just let the three of them go and move on from here..

If the prices went DOWN, the milage rate would go UP. You still need the same $$, and the formula is $$$= Total Assessed Value * Milage rate. If Assessed Values go down, the Milage rate therefore has to go up to get the same income (bills don't go away). In our case, the Assessed Value stays the same, so the milage rate has to increase as the income requirement for the county increases (unless you'd like to explain to me that your bills are less now than they were 10 years ago).
I'd agree with you that the assessed values should have decreased during the housing slump (that is if they'd have increased as they should have during the bubble), but the notion that your taxes would decrease is funny.
The assessed value did not decrease because there has not been a re-assessment in way too long. The last was in the 1960's, so the housing slump of a couple of years ago has no impact on the values. even with the slump, they still were much higher than the '60's.

I never said it wasn't time for Thomas to go, it is way past time to give him the boot. The only thing I have said is that Dan Pellicano is not the man to replace him. If elected, Dan will be worse than the ones we already have in office. He is strictly an unemployed outsider who thinks he has all the answers for Franklin County, and he thinks the local electorate will be dumb enough to give him a job. Has anyone noticed that he has no endorsements for his work ability from any of his puported previous employers. That to me seemm rather strange to me.
No, he thinks the local electorate is SMART enough to see through people like you who continue to spread lies. In fact, I personally supplied him with details about some of the SNAKES currently in office (mostly THOMAS), information I got first hand, and he told me me he intended to take the high road. PEOPLE OF FRANKLIN COUNTY you have no idea what a stand up individual Pellicano is.
You don't see him on blogs making up lies or desparaging comments. In fact, with what I gave him he wouldn't have to lie, just tell the truth (BOB).
In fact, for those of you reading this who where unable to see it earlier - there were very inappropiate comments, which got taken down, that personally offended Dan wife. I spoke with her. Is that what this race has come to? Are you people proud of yourselves? I don't see Dan making comments to offend or hurt anyones family. GROW UP BOYS!!!
I'LL ASK YOU AGAIN, AGAIN, AND AGAIN... Have any of the INCUMBANT SUPPORTERS said anything to support their records. NOT A THING. This is all A BIG DISTRACTION from THE REAL ISSUES. As someone said earlier - Desparate people....
The incumbants are TOO AFRAID to attend a FORUM. If you are comfortable with your record, it shouldn't matter what the questions are or who asks them. Shoot, THOMAS you can personally set one up, and I guarantee PELLICANO has the integrity to attend. But I get it... Then the incumbants would have to defend their CRAPPY record. HIDE BOYS HIDE!!!

WOW... My have you all been busy on this post! People, up until today, I wasn't sure who I was going to vote for, or quite honestly if I would even vote in the primary. But this forum has helped me make up my mind. Not only will Pellicano get my vote, I will encourage everyone I know to VOTE THOMAS OUT. I for one don't want to be remotely associated with the like of his supporters. In fact, I'm embarrassed to think the some of the individuals posting here a supporters of our current government. Dan, if your reading this, I will be reaching out to you to volunteer support. FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF FRANKLIN COUNTY can you in good conscience join the SLIMEY DISHONEST incumbent supporters. They are starting to show themselves... and it's not good.

Make a phone call Mr. Chairman to get your and your wife's comments removed? Can dish it out, but can't take it? People see through you. Keep thinking what you want, but you couldn't be futher from the truth. The incumbant supporters are drawing publicity to Pellicano and Funk with all the negative campaigning, while they are staying above it all. AND THE PEOPLE OF FRANKLIN COUNTY ARE SMART ENOUGH TO SEE IT! You'll see.

I agree Dan would take this county down a road we would never recover from. I know him well and he is not the man for the job. he is a hot head and loose cannon which is why he lost his last race. Funk and Keller will have my vote.

Keep at it Dan, at least the incumbents don't have to make up a dozen different names and post on here. You are just grasping at straws. It won't work in Franklin County.

Interesting there was not any nasty campaigning while the commissioners were in session today. Bet we can find a pattern of no negative posts every Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Nice campaign strategy boys!

Do not need to Dan,you are doing a fine job all by yourself. You may be your own worst enemy. If you had a job you wouldn'y have all this time to be on here making up names to post under.
