If convicted, both men face a maximum sentence of up to two years prison and a $250,000 fine. "Yeah right?" Our tax dollars at work to support 2 while in prison and they should not be here anyways! How do we expect to get $250,000 each from these men? It is a joke! Let's say we do give them meals and a bed behind bars, when they get out do we deport them again? If they have a chance at all to pay any kind of fines they will have to take a job away from an American! The one man was 16 years old when caught and deported the first time. What crime did he commit other then just being here?

The judicious use of Corporal Punishment would put a halt to this whole mess. Think the would come illegally if they KNEW they would be flogged?

These are typical, dirt poor people with perhaps a second or third grade education who are only qualified for menial, low-skill labor. They will take less than minimum wage pay because that, compared to where they came from, is big money. The employers who take advantage of illegals are subject to prosecution but seldom are. Ever hear of any employer in Franklin County being prosecuted for hiring illegal aliens?

There are enablers in the Catholic church, in the Presbyterian churches, and government officials who look the other way and do not compel the Chambersburg Hispanic Center to pay back taxes.

It's also a requirment to be a citizen of this nation that you be able to converse in English, so why do we have "press 1"? To cater to a bunch of criminals...and once again, our money pays for it. These politicians better listen up and understand that Americans are PISSED OFF! We're they're biggest roadblock the the North American Union and they hate us for that.

The Catholic church is the biggest traitor insofar as it concerns different denominations. Most hispanics, who ARE the majority of illegal aliens in this nation byfar, are Catholic and the Pope wants their money. Since, they work under the table and get welfare, food stamps, etc., they have money to give....always, always, always follow the money. It'll lead you straight to the source of the problem.

When they start giving these traitorous employers SERIOUS fines and SERIOUS jail time, they'll quit hiring these invaders.

"Though the five commissioners agreed Matson violated the county's personal conduct policy, Matson is an elected official and they can do little more than issue a public reprimand that carries no penalty."
==========

I would like to know what this so-called "personal conduct policy" says...turn in susupected illegal invader workers and we boil you in oil publicly??

Not that it matters to the thrust of your point, but the Catholic Church can't be a traitor in that it falls under the purview of the Curia at The Vatican, not the US. Also, FWIW, the US is at the very bottom of the Curia's list of concerns.

About Hispanics being the majority of illegal aliens, what's your point? That's our hemisphere. Which is more likely: Asians traveling 5400 miles by sea or Hispanics/Latinos traveling less than 2000 miles by land?

About needing to "press 1". There is no official language in the US. Parts of the US were at one time properties of Spain and Mexico. Puerto Ricans *are* American citizens, they speak Spanish, and over 2 million live here in the continental US. Finally, are you calling a governmental office here in PA and getting "press 1" or a business? If you're advocating for all businesses to use English only, wouldn't that be additional governmental intrusion?
