Judge tosses suit over Columbus schools' data tampering
A Franklin County judge has dismissed a parent's lawsuit against Columbus school officials, ruling that the district can't be held liable in the civil case for manipulating student data.

The judge is right. In theory, the government is responsible for misfeasance (inept employees), but not for malfeasance (criminal employees). It's the same for businesses.
