Until one loses a child of their own, I guess it is unthinkable to imagine the heartache this poor woman has endured after the tragic loss of her son. Shame on those of you without a heart. Hope you never have to walk in the shoes she did.

The point is she took her life in a way that impacted someone outside of.her family, friends, and those who's normal work deals with death. Had she killed herself at home that would be one thing but to jump off a bridge into traffic impacted many that should not have been.
Exactly Spook.

To Dee and tee- no one trashed the deceased. It is the manner in which she chose to take her life. My heart goes out to the driver that hit her. I almost hit a raccoon the other day which would have made me feel horrid; I can't fathom hitting a human being.

My Uncle committed suicide by blowing his brains out. He did it in a warehouse at his place of employment. I can't imagine being the person that showed up for a "normal" workday and found him.

Suicide is selfish; dragging innocent people into horrific, life changing scenarios, super selfish.

I've been in that position myself. Its tough on the family, mostly left with a million questions running through their minds.

To the socio that is making fun of this woman she does have family and ppl that cared for her so you need to think about them before writing things on here for your own laughter. What if this was someone in your family. She had a rough life lost her only son do to drugs so think before writing.
Let's say you get in your car. You drive to the Walgreens and start talking to the clerk about your son, how he died, your unhappy life, etc. Then you go to the pharmacist and tell him the same thing. Then you go down to the Speedway and chat up the cashier and tell them the same sob story.

Do you really think you're going to get positive reactions from them?

NO!

Was anyone one of you there with her,you have no idea what really happen besides what the news say and you have no idea what she has been through in her life yes maybe she shouldn't have risked hurting someone else but living the life she had is it possibly that she had tried many other ways to end her life and that was the only way for her I knew her and I know she wouldn't of intentionally tried to hurt anyone until you know the whole truth do not judge

<quoted text>Those suicides who involve innocent strangers like motorists, railroad engineers and cops in their act are fair game for comment.
You sound like someone who doesn't have a clue about really depressed people. Since you sound like an idiot anyway people should ignore your stupid remarks. If someone is desperate enough to commit suicide they are hardly in a position to think clearly.

I knew her and she was a very nice person. She never got over the death of her son and was a very troubled person. She would never have hurt anyone else if she was in her right mind. She was to the point of desperation that no one should have to face.

NOBODY has the right to make an innocent party the instrument of their death.
Suicide...selfish.
Suicide by involving another...unforgivable.
Suck on that, b#tch.

That's why nobody is really picking on her on this board. You wanna see someone who was picked on, check out the I-71 thread. Stripper, drunk, hit a guardrail, deceased left behind two bastard babies and a murderer boyfriend.

You hit the nail on the head Bob. You might get a reply such as "oh I'm sorry to hear that", but complete strangers aren't really going to give a shit. Best to keep it among friends and family.

Thank you for taking up for Susie. These people are ignorant.
Evidently they have no understanding of suicide victims. One of these days their cruelty will come home to them.

The point is not that we don't understand suicide victims. The point is that this is not the appropriate place for this. It would be like if you wanted to go to the Funny Bone and demanded that they do the Star Spangled Banner and a prayer before they started the comedy act. If you want sympathy, you're not going to get it here.
