Since certain people seem to be trying to goad me into another flame war, I tried to oblige. I checked her record. Unfortunately, nothing there to trigger my ridicule.

Not a Darwin Award winner. Sounds like someone who should have sought help.

May her memory be eternal.

Those suicides who involve innocent strangers like motorists, railroad engineers and cops in their act are fair game for comment.

You are using that poor woman's misery for your own amusement. For shame!

Couldn't find anything on Google. Looks like the only notable thing she ever did was dive off a bridge onto 315.

She was hit by at least one car according to the story. That means she dragged at least one innocent person into her mess.

She's astroturfing. You can't astroturf a good death thread. It has to occur organically. It also helps if friends and relatives of the decedent start posting tributes and talking about how she was turning her life around.

Susan Pewo was the name of the victim. Sounds Mexican.

It's American Indian. The Geronimo type.

Close - I was thinking indigenous as opposed to being of Spanish stock.

My understanding is that most of the ones you see here are the Native American types or mixed. The Spaniards look down on them.

Let's say a few things about Susie. I knew her. Her son was my first love when we were in high school. Sadly, he died about 8 years ago due to an accidental drug overdose. Susie's been grief-stricken ever since, and apparently the demons were too much to take.

Some demons are there for all to see, some you have no idea people were dealing with them. Hope she is at peace now.
