Why is this a good thing? Hundreds of dogs across the country will be put to sleep today because their time is up at the pound. Thousands more are sitting in cages right now - frightened, depressed, lonely, helpless, uncomfortable - hoping to find a good home. And Ms. Mauk and her ilk continue to breed. She's nothing to be proud of. Please don't deal with these people - they're selfish and they care nothing about animals. Don't support these types of dog shows and only adopt from shelters or rescue groups.

People are allowed to breed the dogs they want, it is the careless people who don't take care of their dogs that cause all of the problems. Give me a break, they probably do more for dogs than you ever would.

Oh, really? What is it that breeders do for dogs that is in the best interest of dogs? They're money makers and nothing more. And the people who profit from the breeding of dogs are bottom feeders incapable of accomplishing anything on their own. Have you ever seen a puppy mill? Breeders are some of the filthiest, scummiest, cruelest, greediest people you will ever encounter. And the people who deal with them are no better.

Try earning a living on your own and not off helpless dogs. If the only thing you can offer this world is your ability to force a dog to breed, then you don't have much to be proud of.

You sound angry. Maybe you need a hug. Why don't you go adopt a dog and leave eeryone else alone. I have recue dogs but certainly don't begrudge owners from purchasing the dog of their choice.
