Flooding causing concern in Franklin County By DENISE RAYMO FORT COVINGTON - The Salmon River raged over its banks Tuesday, forcing evacuations along a section overrun with sediment last year when the aging dam was removed.

Hmmmm...maybe more research should be done prior to removing infrastructure holding back large amounts of silt and sand? Come on people! I am sure the cost analysis did not include any of this.

the real sad par tis this happens every year that area. if not this exact spot, others along this river. figure on of these times, they will figure out how to fix the problem.
