this is such a great idea. I know it is usually done during a big holiday. Shame this couldn't be done all the time. The money it cost would save lives.

It is a shame that there is not a consistent penalty that is enforceable. It would help if everyone caught driving drunk received the same sentence regardless of the circumstance and person.
The loss of their license for a year with some kind of monitoring on a regular basis as well as a recovery program would put some teeth into being caught driving drunk. There needs to be something significant. There is to much tragedy linked to drunk driving.
