Those Europeans Investors on the Flanagan Hotel! I wonder if they sent someone to Malone, to see what they are investing in? Or did I miss that part of the news. A lot of money being invested. I wonder who the investors are. I am thinking out loud.

The only Guests I see there are the Pigeons flying in and out.
I was hoping that somehow something would take place there for the good but nothing as of yet.
I would imagine the longer that time goes by it will only get costlier to do what is needed.

Hey Andy are you whacked? Yes they were going to leave the garbage and animal dropping there. Maybe they will just throw some beds in there right now.

Where do you live? Was it built just for you? I know my animals have crapped on the floor but I cleaned it up and that is what they are doing.

Foreign investors probably mean a loan from a bank outside the US. Banks do not care what they are giving you the loan for only that they get their money and on time.

Haunted I forgot about that maybe that could be a selling point! LOL!!! ohhhhh!! BOOOO!!!!

What an assine thing to say.
If you know lots of people died there, it must be because you did a lot of research....so what did you find?

Well I did not mean to offend you. If you took my remarks personally you are not a clear thinker. I am glad you mop up after your pets, you at least sound like a responsible pet owner. Goes to show you everyone has some talents.

It is usually someone from outside of a town, village, city who sees potential in some aspect of the place......... The locals of the place usually, as evidenced by the comments above, usually run the place down. Familiarity seems to breed contempt..... People find it difficult to appreciate anything until someone else purchases or invests in it....then the outsider is seen as the loser or the bad guy. Why?

why because he invests in something he clearly cannot afford. malone people are tired of getting their hopes up, just to have them destroyed. its happened alot. so excuse us if were so negative because we have seen the future, and it doesnt look good. that doesnt mean we cant be a nice little village. it just means there isnt going to be an economic boom here.

first off not all of us are crazy about the project second do you know how many million it would take to fix the flanagan. if the rich and mighty wont invest in it why should the common folk. the rich would rather invest in another quicky mart then put their money to use.

I've met Frank and I like him personally. I have no problem with him living here and getting involved in some other business venture - in fact I think it would be good.

But the Flanagan should be carefully torn apart and the lot should be turned into a garden with a walkway and a fountain where kids could make wishes etc. That would look great and make good use of the space.

I admire Frank for trying to take on the project but it was just too much. Time to move on and make something good out of it.

Not having a renovated Hotel Flanagan does not spell the end of Malone.
