Just because he lived there and had previous injuries does not make what happened right. She is no longer here and he still walks and breathes. He will have to live with what he did to her for the rest of his life.

I don't see anywhere in the article where it says Pannhurst actions were right. It stated that the State Police are investigating, and will present all findings to the District Atty. who will decide whether or not criminal charges are warranted. Remember, no matter how heart wrenching, accidents do happen, and you are correct in stating that he will have to live with what he has done for the rest of his life.
