DA pleads for an assistant

Over the last few years I have lost several ADAs in Franklin County. All who have left said the work load was impossible. District Attorney Robert Lavender is hoping for some local office help for the new year. via Franklin County Citizen

Welcome to my world,charges were taken out on two males over a year ago and nothing has been done about that yet. I have been called to court several times and the only thing you hear is, "We'll call you when we get to the case." I guess the court is waiting on time, to just throw it out. I think it is all in who the victim is as I have seen queit a bit.

What on earth is Robert Lavender pleading for an assistant? With last weeks verdict of $1000 and one year probation to a woman who killed her son Mr. Lavender needs nothing but to have his rear thrown from office.

Oh, I forgot, dealing with the morons in Elbert County, he finally decided to get someone intellengent and advertised for help in Homer.

Good going Robert, but you'll find people in Homer have more sense than to move to a worthless town like Elberton.
