I think this is one of the most stupid laws ever made,I used to smoke and feel if a business wants to allow smoking and you don't smoke you have the right NOT to go in. The business is the ones that should make this rule not the state. What about all these employee's you see standing around outside a business puffing away.If the state is going to fine a business for inside they need to enforce this all the way.

You ain't much brighter either pal! So do we allow the business owners to decide everything? Abolish all the codes, laws and ordinances that the business owner already has to follow to keep his doors open. Or are you just concerned with the one that you are addicted to?
Smoking in any business is over, accept it or YOU CAN STAY HOME.

Hey, Smoke Free Bars, before you insult someone's "brightness", you need to quit confusing codes and laws with business characteristics! If a restaurant chooses to be seafood, italian, or whatever, that's a choice of the owner and is a matter between the owner and the customers. Smoking is no different. The fact that it is a "law" does not make it right; this is the essence of this whole debate.

Smoking is over as long as we continue to let self absorbed individuals such as yourself whine the loudest in an attempt to mold society as it suits you. I'm sure that you quit driving, as your auto emits true poison into the atmosphere. Put up or shut up!

Sorry "Smoke Free Bars" and "just candid" but you guys are wrong. You say most drunks and degenerates smoke well the President smokes and most of the dumbass people that put this country in the situation it is in smokes. I think it is our right to smoke whenever and wherever we want.In fact if it were up to me "MARIJUANA WOULD BE LEGAL AND ALL THESE BIG CEO'S COULD KISS MY ASS!!!" bECAUSE IT WOULD PUT OUR ECONOMY BACK TO WHERE IT SHOULD BE. YOU NEVER HEAR OF ANY ONE KILLING A PERSON FROM SMOKING AND DRIVING!

A poolhall is very likely to lose some business to a smoking ban. There are an abundance of "shooters" whose best move is blowing smoke in the face of an opponent who is sighting up on a key shot. If all those bogus betties have to face their incompetence they will be too embarrassed to show their faces.

Dear North Carolina,

You'll be glad to see how much more money you will make when all the tourists with children stop and eat in your restaurants. We really appreciate your ban and will frequent your business when we stop by this summer! Thanks for supporting everyone's right to clean, smoke free air! PS, have you banned smoking in gas stations yet?

Sincerely,

The Northerners
