Forsyth County Animal Control**
Recently admitted that most times it does NOT bother to scan the animal for possible RFID chip which leads to the identification of owner. Any pet owner whom is missing an animal, especially Cats, Please GO to the facility re: Forsyth County Animal shelter and physically look for your missing pet. AND do not wait. Bring photo of your missing cat.
This practice, of NOT following proper procedure re; NOT checking for RFID CHIP is in fact illegal. "Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property)(O.C.G.A.Section 16-8-6)
