I have a report about the storm last night. my brother has lots of tree damage off of 166 behind community center. its on a dirt road.

My mom lives in Carrollton near the lake and lost most of her really tall and big Pines. Much damage in neighborhood

Our neighbor's house was burned to the ground last night. The storm that caused it was actually two cells that combined over Dallas, becoming very intense. There was a lot of rotation even at ground level, although I don't think it was tornadic.

Just before the storm hit, a shelf cloud formed along the front of the storm, so I knew we were probably in for some trouble.

There were two lightning strikes that hit close together, the first starting the fire, and the second knocking out power to the area.

It was a very scary sight to see the house burn. We live in a rural area, and if we had had any less rain, we would have seen a firestorm. The flames were higher than the pine trees.

This is the second house to burn on our road from lightning strikes in as many years.
