What a WASTE of money and intrusion into a peaceful, natural terrain!

This will cost thousands of dollars for every person in Floyd County.

Would you write a check for a thousand dollars to build this road?

Where's the congestion? What's the big problem that a wider road or intersection work won't fix?

This is just more pork barrel politics to divide Berry land and give developers access to build subdivisions and put some construction works to work TEMPORARILY.

Wake up and be politically active. Reject this entire squandering of your tax money!

I do not approve of the idea, for the simple fact that the town is growing far too much too fast and it is supposed to be a peaceful community. Adding the road would simply bring more people and cause Armuchee/Rome to explode. There is, as is, not a great deal of places left to be inhabitated. I want my children to grow up where I did, as I did; in a small community where everyone pretty much knew everyone and where people looked out for each other. If this is a selfish thought, then I guess I'm selfish. As far as an outside perspective looking in, I believe that the layout of the road is not a very smart idea, if they want to build the highway, they need to move the part where it meets veterans further towards 53. As far as widening 27, I don't think that would be too feasable. Yes, sometimes the road way is congested, but I having have never really seen a problem with it. If the growth in the city/ies continues, it will wind up being more congested than Marietta, where I moved approximately 5 months ago and currently live. I am looking to move back to Armuchee (for the record and for anybody who doesnt' know, pronounced Armurchee).
