UNDERSTANDING PARENT

Orlando, FL

I understand that the parents were at their wits end with the child, but public humiliation is not the answer. I empathize with the parents, because i personally know how difficult it is to raise a female child in todays world. At this point, the damage is done on both sides. However, I am seriously concerned about the emotional impact this is having on Jasmine. Please have her see a Mental Health Professional (ASAP), especially before she goes back to school and have to deal with the fallout from this humiliation. AN INDIVIDUAL AND FAMILY THERAPIST, will help Jasmine and her family deal with the reason for her behaviors and will help the family to be better able to cope under stressful situations.
Not good step daddy

Look at yourself as a role model step daddy. You should be carrying a sign that reads: "I humiliate my family by not having any respect for my body by not being able to stop eating or drinking. I am ashamed wearing clothes that look like I slept in my clothes and just rolled out of bed. I am not a good role model for my family."
