Need to hear both sides before everyone makes an opinion. Media has a tendency to exaggerate the one side. The uncle appears to be very strange as well- how do you all know that he didn't have something to do with it?....because he is going on TV and making statements of what HE saw??? Remember all the families that go on the air and plea for the return of their children safely and then after further investigation find that the mother or father had done something with their child.. You just never know until ALL THE FACTS are out. My heart does go out to Jeremy's family, as well the Monaghan's family.

If the uncle is so scared...how come he keeps putting his face on the news every chance he gets and changing his story? I would like to hear cory's side first. If I were scared for my life I would be in hiding...not on the news.

1 Everyone asks me what was Cory thinking, or why would he do this? How the hell am I supposed to know? Sometimes people do things that there are no explanations for. I have seen countless news stories where relatives, friends, neighbors, and coworkers tell reporters that the serial killer they knew was a decent and kind person. That they could never do such a thing…but the truth is in the end they did do what ever horrible thing they were accused of. I do not think as humans we are equipped to deal with this kind of event in our own lives and it is more comfortable to just deny any of it as truth. This awful event has torn our whole family apart. For all you who want to beat people up with your opinions should realize the kind of hell the three families involved have gone threw in the last few weeks. This is not easy for any of us, and all of us loose. Many people lost a friend, a cousin, a son, a big brother, and a father...and it, in its own way, has been a life sentence for all of us that none of us asked for. The rest of us, the countless people this crime touched, are left with broken hearts and fractured families are stuck dealing with the reality of the situation which means none of our lives will ever be the same again. All you people can say what you want, but the reality is that Cory is in jail because they have plenty of evidence to hold him there. Do you really think the state arrests, tries, and convicts people based solely on other peoples accusations? If that was the case we would have more jails than schools. Lets get a grip folks, they must have supporting evidence to keep Cory charged with these horrible acts and locked in a cage. Technology is a great thing, and I am sure that DNA and physical evidence will tell the story of what happened. Lets all remember that a young man lost his life, and spending our time talking about rather Cory is guilty or not does not change the facts. The truth will come out in the trial; the physical evidence will come out in the trial, and all the bickering you people are doing back and forth is silly and a waste of time. The victim had family and friends that loved him, Cory has family and friends that love him...we do not need to keep rehashing half ass facts and conjecture because it just hurts the people who are left. Is there some reason people feel the need to keep pouring salt in their wounds? Instead of spending time being vicious for your own entertainment, maybe you should think about doing something nice for the people who are left to pick up the pieces. One man is dead, one family is homeless, one man is in jail and there are dozens, if not hundreds of other people hurting. Do we really need to keep hurting each other? The people you are yelling at are hurting just like you, when the truth comes out, no matter what the truth is, we are all still broken. |

I can't believe I didn't hear this story on the news and just recently was asked what I thought about it. So tonight I looked up the newspaper article and my heart just sank. I knew the Monaghan family personally and they are a loving close knit family. By no means perfect, but then who's family are. My heart goes out to his Mom and Dad who's hearts are surley broken and siblings that are probably confused and hurting. Not to mention grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins who are also admist this night mare. And what about Cory's children? Can we all remember to not think the worst as so many of us do with out even realizing it and be reminded that we are ALL Innoceint until proven guilty.
My prayers are with Cory and all family members involved. |

1 Thank you Federal Way for such nice words about Cory and his family. I am a long time friend of Cory's and believe that when the Truth comes out, all will see that Cory is innocent. |

i am sad to say cory is my cousin. he is a sick man. i hope he gets the death penalty. sad to say but anyone who can do what he did to another human (let alone his friend) should be put to death.
to defend my uncle from the incorrect and outlandish comments about him, when everything went down he was sitting at the table eating breakfast in his underwear when cory shot jeremy at point blank range. he was on the phone with 911 when cory picked up jeremy's still twitching body and snapped his neck. he escaped his home after that knowing cory would come after him next. which is probably true since cory's main joy in life was killing any animal that moved. all my family called him "cory kavorkian". cory's mother ( my aunt deb) is a cold hearted and vicious woman. she defends her son which sad to say she made him the way he is. i cant wait till the truth comes out at the trial. he will burn in hell for what he did and i hope it is sooner rather than later. i am so sorry for all that this sick man has done to jeremy's family. he was still a kid. still had so much to experience in this world. i am so sorry for your loss. the next person on here to defend cory i just want you to remember it could have happened to you. this could have been your brother, father friend cory stole the life of. it could have been his beautiful little boys. ROT IN HELL CORY. you will never be forgiven! |
