Thank you - I hope others follow suite. In effort to not offend others, the very heart of our own culture and history and beliefs and values are in the process of being suffocated and compromised.

This is good news. I would love to see the U.S. Constitution posted as well and pictures of George Washington on the classroom walls like they used to be.

It is being done for historical reasons..But I have no problem with them being put up for any reason..Did you know that in the late 1700's and 1800's kids were being taught from a book called the,"New England Primer"? In this book were many many biblical verses in it and this was taught in the public schools. If it was good enough for our Founding Fathers,it should be good enough for us today..I have a copy of it..

although i bet me and you would disagree on MUCH! of what should be taught in public schools, i agree i do not want any group teaching a child there form of faith! this includes the faith of the big bang religion! and sodomite religion! and prob some others! basic math, english etc.. and history in way that does not attempt to control or manipulate young minds into certain groups wants!

Separation of Church and State as it is interpreted now,No!!!Our Founding fathers did not want religion like it was in Britain, but they did want a Country that followed Gods principles, and to recognize the Christian God as the God of this Country, and be allowed to pray everywhere we want..Even in schools and other public places..

Our Founding Fathers were just men,but men that recognized and worshiped the Christian God..I want this Country to follow the path the Founders wanted for this Country.

Don't forget,in the Bible, all country's that worshiped God flourished..But the ones that left God out of their country failed miserably..

Lets teach our kids to read from the "New England Primer" like our founders did,and the school systems and this Country would be a much better place.

The Commandments are very important if you are a Jew or a Seven day keeper. However Salvation comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ!!

What we need to know is what commands are still binding.

Remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy!
Is the Sabbath still Binding?

Some think it is, some think not but most agree it is Saturday.

Well matt surely you are rational enough to see that the ten commandments have long been a part of our western beliefs and traditions? It still has a great impact upon the founding principles of this country, and how we ourselves make and keep laws.

I enjoyed your post, and agree..Some people do not realize the importance the 10 Commandments were to our great Country..That is what many of our laws were founded on..Christianity was so important to a lot of our Founding Fathers that before our Constitution was ratified that many of the states made it mandatory for a person to be a Christian before they could hold any governmental office..

glad when we can agree! but you know i am very cautious about some? and their ideas of faith? but in a historical view i think it to be a clear foundational truth! God bless!

James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not,to him it is sin.

Maybe this should be posted the sin of omission! This is where most Christians fall short including me. And this is why we need a Savior to cover all our sins with his blood.

1 John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we decieve ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Therefore we are Saved by Grace through Faith not of works lest any man should boast!
