According to the Jamestown Police Department, Assistant Chief Steve Taylor was off-duty and driving his personal truck when he was involved in a one vehicle crash in Fentress County.

Seriously people why would you get on here and bash Steve the way you have he is a good man and a good officer he was not drinking and he certainly was not doing a drug deal is that all you people care about is getting on here and bashing people especially when they are a well known person he was not on duty and was in his personal vehicle so why should he get in trouble for anything so why don't you people leave him alone because it is no ones business to what he was doing or where he was going i wish people in this town would grow up and leave other peoples lifes alone you need to worry about your own life

If you are going to work for the public. Then you had better be ready to answer questions when something happens. This is 2012 not 1912.
