This has to be some kind of a joke. Did you not see that there were plenty of rooms left to rent at all levals of Motels/Hotels.
How would you feel, while visiting a different city, you were charged a small fortune for a hamburger.
What I heard from many, was Lexington is now called GOUGE CITY.
Sorta like Dodge City, where everyone was a crook.
How long do you feel it will take to erase this bad taste from people we attracted? to return for a vacation. Or to put it another way, will they ever return?
It was YOUR greed that caused this. But as I recall, most here are money hungry anyway.
It hurt, more than helped.
