Some Public horsewhippings for gougers - including oil company CEOs might have a curative effect. The threat of limp-wristed prosecution will adjust the attitude of nobody except the small - one-station owner - and there are very few of them.
Another solution would be to declare a moratorium on the collection and payment of FEDERAL taxes within Kentucky until the Feds got serious about protecting people from the big oil companies. If enough states would do that the Feds wouyld have no choice. The Federal government is nothing but a big, fat-arsed, loud-mouthed paper tiger that only gets away with their garbage because We, the People don't stand up and jerk a knot in their tail.
