last time i checked you didnt need approval, permit, licsence, class's, to walk down the street. what happens if that deaf man in town gets hit walking to the school? it will be blamed on the driver just because of who he is. accidents shouldnt happen in vechicles, the driver needs to not only watch the road at all times, but the other cars and pedestrians, every little single thing they can do to prevent these things from happening. once again, driving is a privalage, and we as citizens are tested hands on and on paper before we get the right to exercise the privalage.

accidents shouldn't happen in vehicles??? man you must be Carlisle at its finest. I actually Lindsey very well and for you to make such an idiotic comments is crazy I would pray that you or your family are never in an accident since you should have complete control of your vehicle at all times but when you are I hope you come back on here and remember that it's your fault

This is awful the way both of these ladies are being talked about. I am not from Carlisle, but travel through there often, often going onto E. Union RD. I am saddened by the amount of hostility this has brought into that community. These are both very young girls. It was an unfortunate accident. As a community, you all should pull together and grieve, not split and argue. No one else was outside and witnessed the accident, so no one knows the truth besides Lindsey. Reports from the police will never fully be opened to the public.

My condolences goes out to the family members of Heathers. My prayers are with Heathers family as well as Lindsey. I pray that this community can put this tragedy behind and show support for each member going forward. My hopes are that the little boy, who is left without a Mother, will grow up remember who his mother was, not what happened to her and hopefully not with a hatred toward the other person.
