This is truly unbelievable. I pray too that the family finds closure. This was a terrible tragedy and for the life of me, I don't know why people are saying that Lindsay has been joking about this. Lindsay is hurting as well, she is young and will have to live with this for the rest of her life. Stop believing everything you hear or read on here. That is just not like Lindsay at all and I do not believe it for a minute. I do know Lindsay and have known her for a very long time and the Lindsay I know would never find any of this funny. I do know that Lindsay is heartbroken over this especially for the little boy that will grow up without his mother. Lindsay grew up without hers and knows what this little lad will miss out on. Stop the accusations and let the police handle this and just because they have ruled this is an accident doesn't mean they are covering up anything.
I don't know you but as someone close to Lindsey I thank you

it is a tragedy that something like this should or could happen. i dont know people on either side. i feel for the family for the girl who was struck. i also feel for the girl who was driving. There is no justice for an acccident. It was a bad situation that just happened. Seeking money through lawsuits isnt going to change one thing. Having the driver jailed isnt going to make any difference at all. They were both very young. The driver needs to be able to forgive herself and have a normal life but that can only happen if the family of the victim forgives her and scknowledges that it was an accident. I doubt seriously that the driver made any jokes. No doubt she was traumatized. Think about how you might feel. Could YOU makes jokes about it? Not likely. I believe both sides should allow each other to move on. There is no justice for accidents. They just happen when bad circumstances happen all at once. If someone is giing to be made to pay, why doesnt someone sue God? He is in charge of the life department. Forgive and ask God to help hearts heal.

I know for a fact she was joking about it!! That night she said to a group of her friends " I didn't even see the bitch" & when a friend on her was leaving she said " watch out I might hit you with my car to" does this sound like a girl that has remorse for her actions? I hope she gets what she deserves and the family has closure! & clearly you don't know Lindsey as good as you think you do!

i feel sorry for both families.....such a tragedy....my heart also breaks for Lindsey!!! Why would they want to press charges??? Doesn't everybody think that Lindsey will be paying for this the rest of her life!!!! Everybody needs to leave her be!!! If she wanted to get nasty about this she could get a lawyer and they can request that heathers body be tested to see if there were drugs and or alcohol in her system!!!!! Geez people leave this accident as that an accident!!! Lindsey did not have any intentions of hitting this girl!!! It was a damn accident!!!!! LEAVE THIS ALONE!!!!!

I have a question!!!! What kind of family leaves their loved one lying in a funeral home and goes to a local food place to eat???? During her visitation??? Her father was laughing and joking and making a fool out of himself. That is not grieving or paying respects. That's about as dumb as you can get. Makes me sick to criticize a young girl for an accident when he clearly did not teach his daughter how to not play in traffic at night.

don't know either family, but maybe this girl is young, & don't know how to handle her feelings...poor judgement. I pray for both families, may God help them deal with this tragedy.

How the hell would you know if that was her family that was out to eat or just someone that came to pay there respects. How would you know what her dad was doing at the funeral home? Are you a damn stalker or what? I believe I had it right the first time STALKER!!!!!!!!!! You must Lindsey Banks family or friend to be stalking Heather's family and visitation. Your a sad excuse for a human being. Sad sad sad. If I had nothing better to do than stalk a family at a visitation I would be ashamed of my self.

No dumb ass I don't choose to stalk but I was at the same place they were eating. They were no where near the funeral home during visitation. They were laughing and joking about 911 calls. I know how to pay respects and I know they were not doing so. How damn dumb can a father be? He demonstrated to the many patrons that were eating there what his type of fathering is. I am glad I was not the only one to witness it. He has no sympathy from me. And no stupid I don't know the young lady that ACCIDENTALLY hit her. Nor is she a friend or family of mine. I do know that accidents happen though!!!
