Hopefully the City Council sometimes communicates with the Fayette County Commissioners, and has learned about this "developer" and some of the "trainwrecks" he is responsible for.
I seem to recall not long after he Atlanta Olympics , a very prestigious golf/recreational community was going to be developed in the north end of the County. What presently exists is a gated commnity known as Legacy Hills, and behind it lies a "yet to be successful" cluster community of $300,000.00 dollar homes (no doubt appealing to all the families that want out of Clayton and S. Fulton, but hardly something that has enhanced values for residents in our County!). The City Council needs to do their homework and realize that just because a developer has apparent "good intentions" and an impressive presentation, doesn't always mean he will make good on everything he promises! |
