New sheriff old ways

my wifes uncle was recently robbed,(not much jar full of change things like that).We Know who done it. Well we set up video and caught them on tape.Next we called the law(thursday)they said the would send a investigator out to pick up the tape on friday, so he stayed out of work only to get a call that the investigators where all on easter vacation to wait till monday. He is a single man and they live across the road(5 young men) Now how safe would it make you feel to know that fannins finest is once again nowhere to be found. Yes its a holiday (sunday) But come on this is burlgary. What if he happened to be home next time. This is absolutly intoleable. This is what we expected from the old not the new thanxs.
(I am a born fannin resident for thirty years now,and have seen several new sheriffs but still no new changes

this is the exact reason why we have to lock our cars in our own driveway and our doors at night in a small town because most of the law enforcement in the area has more important things to do ie.(eat at the waffle house, serve warrants etc...) than enforce the law and protect the inocent, I guess with the new sheriff we all hoped for change but as of now there is not much hope.
