Fairfield County jail jam-packed
The Fairfield County jail, which hasn't passed a state inspection in 25 years, mainly because of overcrowding, is bulging even more as changes in Ohio's sentencing laws send more convicts to jail rather than prison.

Need to get rid of Phalen and most of his deputies before any new jail. Phalen can't work within a budget now, if he is Sheriff while a new jail is built it will cost the tax payers 10 times as much.
There needs to be new commissioners sheriff auditor and common pleas court judges. Far too many spending like drunken sailors on shore leave
