State, maker of voting machines settle case

diebold had machine problems before 2008.

Another company with a flawed culture pushing an (internally) known flawed product on an unsuspecting consumer (us).
Where are the criminal cases? Civil suits are nice, especially when won by the correct parties, but why are the individuals causing the problem getting off scott free?
Maybe we ought to teach ethics in the schools and colleges?
