i've always loved the summer thunderstorms. the way the sidewalk makes that steamy smell when it first starts to rain.
the hot air turning cold.
the wind whipping up.
dangerous and powerful yet beautiful at the same time.
to me it's like seeing it for the first time everytime.

Wow it is really pouring out there..thunderstorm started a few minutes ago in Stratford... btw the other day our office bldg in Lordship shook as though the ground beneath rumbled..apparently the tremors from earthquake was the cause, everyone in the bldg was freaking out..creepy.

OMG just goy back had to go on 95 through BPT what a mess..that bldg with fake curtains painted on windows just b/4 27A ramp had the Billboards & metal brackets on top ripped off taking part of bldg with it..heard there is a state of emergency and curfew in BPT..Gov. Jodi Rell is there w/ Mayor Finch..Lots of trees down and power outages in Stratford, BPT, Trumbull
