Two privately operated businesses on Erie's bayfront -- a marina and a yacht dealership -- are seeking to be declared tax-exempt, adding to the debate about the number of tax-exempt properties in the city of Erie.

What can't that cocky SOB John Britton pay his fair share in taxes? What's the matter, did he blow through all his daddy's cash already?
And the YACHT sales company is crying too. They threw Chet Aleks off the waterfront for keeping his marina looking like wattsburg and yet RCR's sales area looks just as bad.
No more free rides. How many times did the police respond to both RCR and Bay Harbor over the last few years?
