Well, they did it.
Voted to guarantee the hotel.
I feel so great.
I always wanted to own a hotel.
Anyways:
What a bunch of jerks.
Knew Dahlkemper and her cronies would suck it up.
Every letter to the Erie Times was against it at least 20 to 1.
PASSED 4-2.
Real representation there.
Wonder if Horton paid his garbage bill yet?

City council has to approve any development on the waterfront. They should withhold approval until they get a guarantee like the county got:$65,000 a year as a tax payment. The city alone should get $275,000 per year based on the assessed value of the hotel. School District should sue to get the tax revenue as well.

BUT

they'll roll over and give Roger Richards exactly what he wants.

What an incredibly sad community this is.

Caz Kwitowksi whined that nobody has any guts on city council. Well show the way stosh. LOL.

Thank you Suckers........
Every once in a while I have too check in & see if my beloved Democratic Party is still playing the people of Erie like a bull fiddle. Yep! they sure are....a special recognition for Kathy Dahlkemper who after only a few weeks in office stuck a fork in the voters, grabbed the $60,000,000 brass ring then hung it on the taxpayers.
It may not be true there is a sucker born every minute as alleged but there sure are enough of them in Erie to keep the Democratic Tax & Spend show as popular as ever to the useful idiots who keep voting straight democratic.
Thanks again suckers! You voted for us, now that Kathy Dahlkemper is safely in office in the Fools Paradise known as Erie ....perhaps she will not have to worry about being a one term loser again.

Gee, I guess the zoning ordinance is wrong then....

REPRINT OF THE CITY OF ERIE
ZONING ORDINANCE 80-2005

WATERFRONT CONDITIONAL USE REQUIREMENTS

306 CONDITIONAL USES - WATERFRONT DISTRICTS: A building permit or zoning certificate for a use in the Waterfront Districts, Sections 204.20, 204.21 and 204.22 will be issued by the Zoning Officer only after receiving the recommendations of the Design Review Committee, Planning Commission and City Council approval.

DiMattio was the deciding vote. If he voted no with Loll and Horton it wouldn't have passed.

Apparently you never watch the news or read the paper where the closed door meeting was announced that had been called f by Dahlkemper & that NOBODY including DiMattio would talk about what was discussed.
Quit defending the undefendable, you are acting like Obama`s press secretary!.

How any times are you going to post under my name jackass? The fact that you think it's cute and funny tells us what a loser you are. Why don't you post at the little kids table and let the adults alone.
