Height-related zoning variance sought for new Bayfront Convention Center hotel
That is why the Erie County Convention Center Authority wants the city's Zoning Hearing Board to sign off on a variance for the project, which would allow the hotel to exceed the bayfront height restriction.

you can't go over 50 feet. it'll block my view. of course, if you give me and my sons of lake erie buddies some free parking spaces and unfettered access to the waters edge i'll let you do that.
