Back to that Bosworth report from the Times again and again.... Maybe the city is being careful based on some of the Times hero Eliotts past broken eggs such as the Mercantile building and those highly subsidized downtown condos that are not selling.

Port Erie Jobs ? The city needs that area reserved for vendors to set up shop during Tall Ship festivals, We love Erie days & other tourist attractions. God forbid our elected officials would consider any real sustaining jobs.

First off Joey Sinnott HATES John Elliott. Jealous because Elliott is smarter than Donuts he can put a sentence together unlike Donuts.

The downtown townhouses were built two years AFTER Ellott was pushed out of his job by Kim Green and the Sinnott gang (Flo Fabrizio's nephew, Chris Mong for one).

The Mercantile Building had strong sales until the bottom fell out of the stock market in 2008. After Elliott left Kim Green intervened and turned a lot of people off. Imagine that.

It's the Port Authority's land. If they want to sell it so what? Didn't Joe stack the Port board with his lackeys yet?

Spiteful Joey will be the demise of Erie yet. Promote some more Tullio flotsam Joey.

That post says it all. Erie is dying on the vine and Joe Sinnott has displayed zero leadership in past 7 years and is stalling a plan to create jobs and create some action in an underused area. What, does he think a Starbucks wants to open and people will buy condos next to the waste water treatment plant?
What a sad, lingering, pitiful freaking joke.

Correction, Erie is dead on the vine. It wishes it were dying but it's beyond that now. Erie is and has been dead for quite some time with zero chance of ever making it back to respectability.
The reason is quite simple. Not enough people care anymore. And not enough people ever will care again.
