Was this the West-Side version of the "We;come Wagon"?

"Northwest District police officers responded to the stabbing call about 12:30 p.m Sunday, and Homicide Squad Detectives Michael Acquino and Michael A. Mordino arrested Vidal. A knife believed used in the attack was seized by officers, according to police reports.

Dennis J. Richards, chief of detectives, said, "During the past few weeks, there was tension within the household, between the two men and their family members. This situation escalated, and the victim was stabbed during an argument between the two men."

These Buffalo cops sure do like to get their names in the paper. Even the "Chief of Detectives" had to issue some silly statement.

This does not happen with real police departments. I think these Buffalo cops like to get their names out there to impress those few police groupies who know how to read
