Mike O'Conner is a friend of mine, and I'm sure he didn't mean it, he shouldn't have drank at the game and drove, but that street is so dark and there aren't any sidewalks. Mike is a good guy, but mistakes happen.

He should have pulled a Marshawn Lynch and not stopped----there would have been no record of him being intoxicated and he would have been in LESS trouble.

I have lived off of Aurora St. for 20+ years and have seen the hugh amount of development in that area. Aurora St. with all the increased traffic has become more and more dangerous every year. I agree with Maura about it being very dark and no sidewalks.I dont know why, I see children riding their bikes and people walking every day down that road and it's scarry. Just last night at the same location as the last tradegy somebody reportily was hit by a car. I know this is a county road which is supported by hugh tax dollars from that area, should'nt sidewalks and streetlights be installed???? PREVENTION

What kind of stupid comment is that? How do you think his family feels. That driver wasn't avoiding a deer and hit someone..........he was drunk BIG DIFFERENCE

Mike is a good guy! He didn't mean it! Are you for real? The streets are dark! Try this one on.........he was driving while intoxicated. Only he made the decision. This good guy needs to spend some time in prison and meet all the other good guys!

RIP Thomas M. Hajduk...A life was taken senselessly by someone who broke the law. He killed someone and should go to jail like any other murderer.

Tom Hadjuk WAS a friend of mine and he was a good guy. He was going for a walk, minding his own business -- not operating a deadly weapon like your "good guy Mike O'Conner". Mistakes happen, yes, but taking the life of an innocent party because you had to catch a buzz is irresponsible. Don't make excuses about dark streets -- that's what headlights are for. If your buddy wasn't looped, not only would he have been more alert of his surroundings but Tommy would still be with us today.
