If we raise the pay for all LEO's across the board, then there's a better chance that they wouldn't have to get a second job or commit acts which violate their oath.

Tell the politicians to pay these folks what they're worth, instead of fighting over a measly 2% increase, which doesn't even meet the per annum COLA adjustment! They perform a thankless job, putting their life on the line so we can be safe.

As a former ATL resident, what they pay their cops and firemen is disgraceful!

Don't have a problem with white folks best friend and person who studied bible first time with me is white. Just was responding to the notion that african americans are not americans. I really hate the term african american. There is no one no tribe or country that resembles us in anyway. People from africa treat blacks from america as foriegnors. they're right. Most have american indian blood. I have cousins who live on indian reservations. I also have cousins and distant relatives who are south georgia white farmers. We are not immigrants to go back anywhere. Our ancestors land was taken(trail of tears). Our other relatives were forced to labor without pay for decades. They cleared the land and ran the economy. If all people who's parentage came from immigrants would go home i'd still be here. You probably wouldn't.

Far bigger fish than this one have been caught with their fingers in the pie recently. Public trust is being raped everywhere we look. Whatever happened to Adger Moore?

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Virgo

You're in a very sensitive frame of mind today and are acutely aware of what other people are going through. So if someone is having a bad time, you'll want to do what you can to help. However, it's important to accept that you may not be able to do a single thing. If you persist in trying to help, it will be because you're uncomfortable with the situation and want to feel better.
