I must say, I am surprised it was a trooper. An Atlanta Cop would not have surprised me.

That does not make any sense.

If he's guilty - I'd say there is a good chance he's got either a drug problem, or a gambling problem.

What a trooper !

What we need to do is just suck it up and embrace a society of police who can't be trusted....
If between crooked cops and self serving politicians we believe THESE are the BEST OF THE BEST of the possible representatives of our society, then we as a society deserve everything that happens to us... If only RESPECT were a priority these days. |

lol!!!! |

I, for one, am apawled at yur spelling! |

This is quite shocking..A Trooper..These men and women are not underpaid and there are many who would want a chance at having that job but our society creats such people and I guess I should not be shocked

How do you call yourselves Americans? Ever hear of innocent until PROVEN guilty? Pray for this family. Respect his years of service. Do you think the media will pay attention when it is time for a "not guilty" verdict. You'll never see it. Dirt sells and you bought it.

Thank you. They both got it wrong. ;) |

Pay has absolutly nothing to do with right and wrong. All police officers are sworn to uphold laws, not violate them. Just think, "900 plus troopers didn't commit burglary, 1 did"

Bravo probably spelled it wrong on purpose. It is called sarcasm. But I could be wrong. |
||||
Isn't a sarcasm a big like crack thing in the earth....as in, "Bubba jumped over the sarcasm and fell on his a$$"??? |

lol. That's a chasm. :)

The writing is on the wall. Police state tactics backfire. Power always corrupts. Macon county line again. Why when hollywood thinks of officials mis-behaving they always think of somewhere in the south usually georgia. Is it art imitating life or life imitating art. There is deep trouble in the deep south. It's not them its us we are the people. These people who do these things emerge from our own ranks. Jails and harsh sentences treat the symptoms not the problem. When did the cops become the criminals. If you look at georgia history it looks like the have been the whole time.

What do you know about Georgia History???...What you've seen at Stone Mountain? I'll beat you a pan of cornbread (IF you eat it) you ain't even from Georgia...This isn't limited to Georgia...this is everywhere...bad cops are EVERYWHERE...it's an epidemic |

Well, this one just got caught! The cops, judges and politicians are the obvious manifestations of government power. And as George Washington is supposed to have said, "Government is not reason. It is not eloquence. It is a force, like fire: a dangerous servant and a terrible master." Cops, judges and politicians all have well documented histories of corruption and maleficence in office. It has been going on for decades. Their positions are corruptible and it is the responsibility of the public to watch them and keep them under control and not make excuses for them just like watching a fire. If not, we all get burned. |

I know plenty of georgia history. I can read as well as hear. My whole family is from georgia. The patriarch and namesake for my whole family was a white farmer in the tifton area named walter mitchell. He was my grandfathers father(i'm gonna look up my white relatives one day so they can faint smile). My grandmother was from warner robins area they came from another white farm the mccrearys. My step grandmother was from franklin co. They all escaped in the middle 20's had to. Although i've lived my whole adult life in ga i could never convince not one of them to return even for a visit. Their memories of their eye witness accounts left them in fear. The brutally oppresive things they witnessed in their youth made them all vow never to return south again. They had to escape north for they had no travel papers. Sneak at night to the railway station in tenn. before they were noticed being gone. Don't lecture me about ga history . I am georgia history.Mixed black white and cherokee. But the truth is the truth. We have come a long way. but we also have a long way to go. First in crime first in foreclosure first in high school drop outs terrible race relations police state tactics. Last in schools and an illegal problem to choke a horse. Let em in then don't want them to have medical care food or a driver's license. No license means no job and no insurance that equals crime. Close the border if you gonna act crazy when they get here.

My goodness how you and your family have suffered! The only solution is immigration to Africa. That way you will no longer be oppressed under white rule. All the leaders of African countries are black. Check out Zimbabwe, sound like a great place for expatriate blacks from the US to resettle. Give it a go! Good luck to ya! |
